This is a very relaxed -almost intramural- opportunity for the players to keep that glove from being thrown in the shed for the offseason. The intent is to get them ready for the 2024 Spring Season, so they will sign up based upon those criteria. With field space at a premium and a majority of our players and coaches already committed to a fall sport, we are capping the registration to 48 players per age group.

 

We know for a fact that 12U (Majors) and 10U (Minors) softball will be back for Friday nights although, there is some interest in reducing the number of outside teams and just having longer games so our girls can play more. The times will be at 6pm or 8pm. With field space and daylight a premium, we have never offered it to 8U (Knee High) before; However, we are looking to try it on Sunday mornings at either 9am or 11am.

There is currently no opportunity for softball players born after December 31, 2016.

 

As for baseball, last year was our first venture and it was not without its challenges. We had 10-year-olds playing with 11- and 12-year-olds and it was less than ideal. Then we paired our 8- and 9-year-olds together but unfortunately that was not how it ended up playing out this past spring. We really don't want to move the age brackets around every season or every other season but sometimes the registration numbers dictate that. Our goal for this upcoming fall ball season is to replicate the age brackets we had this past spring: 12u (Majors), 10u (minors), 8u (Rookie), and 7u (Knee High). 

There is currently no opportunity for baseball players born after August 31, 2018.

Games will be played on Sunday mornings at either 9 or 11am with the intent everyone can make it home for the NFL kickoffs at 1pm.

This will be an eight week season running from about Labor Day to Halloween. Registration is $75/player and will only be open for a couple of weeks so please sign up today if you are interested. If a game is lost to inclement weather, we will not be making them up.
